Ramayana Soul’s beginnings date back to 2006, when Erlangga Ishanders (Anga) began experimenting outside his comfort zone into the realm of punk and Britpop. He found a new interest in spiritualism, religion, culture, the East and animism.

The band explores musically how everything is connected to the Ramayana Soul and together they explore the varied faces of Eastern spiritualism.
